The Pennridge Improvement Project (PIP) was established in the summer of 2021 following the abrupt termination of the Pennridge School District’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives. As parents with children in the district, we recognized potential educational gaps and increased vulnerability among students and staff resulting from these changes. In response, PIP was created to provide resources and facilitate opportunities for community engagement that were lacking within the school district. Our objective is to promote a sense of belonging and acceptance for every member of our district, ensuring all children are valued as individuals. We believe meaningful community involvement is a key method to achieve this aim. By collaborating with community members, volunteers, and other local non-profit organizations, we strive to strengthen unity and support across our district and community.
